Drapé

Le drapé et un motif artistique pratiqué depuis l’antiquité. Il permet de cacher tout en révélant les formes, avec sensualité et douceur, et préservé le pudeur des nus avec élégance. Avec le drapé, on obtient du volumes, de la fluidité. On le retrouve en peinture, sculpture, en mode. Le drapé en mode, est l’ensemble des plis formés par l’étoffe d’un vêtement.  

The drape is an artistic motif practiced since antiquity. It allows to hide while revealing the shapes, with sensuality and softness, and preserved the modesty of the nudes with elegance. With the drape, we get volumes, fluidity. We find it in painting, sculpture, fashion. The drape in fashion, is the set of folds formed by the fabric of a garment.

Avec l’intervention de Sylvain Combe, on a pu travailler deux façons le drapé. Le premier est le drapé structuré, on travail les plis les uns après les autres pour créer un modèle définit. Le deuxième est le drapé flou, travailler le tissu sur un mannequin afin de créer un vêtement au fur et à mesure. 

With the intervention of Sylvain Combe, we were able to work the drape in two ways. The first is the structured drape, one works the folds one after the other to create a defined model. The second is the blurred drape, working the fabric on a mannequin to create a garment as you go.

J’ai apprécié ces exercices, il n’y a pas énormément de draper ou de plis sur le drapé flou. Cependant, j’ai adoré réalisé cette robe, car il y a une seule (celle du milieu dos) tous le reste tien par des points mains. 

I enjoyed these exercises, there is not much draping or creases on the fuzzy drape. However, I loved making this dress, because there is only one (the one in the middle back) all the rest yours by hand points.
